Levitation releases 2025 lineup for Austin Psych Fest and the first wave of bands for Levitation France.

The good folks at Levitation and the Reverberation Appreciation Society have unveiled the full lineup for the 2025 Austin Psych Fest.

They’re playing heavy this year. The first night alone unleashes Explosions in the Sky, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Black Mountain, Kadavar, and Blackwater Holylight on you. Kim Gordon shows up Saturday night to wallop you, and then Dinosaur Jr. closes Sunday night. That’s a lot of decibels in three nights.

As if that weren’t a big enough announcement, they also announced the first three bands for Levitation France this year: Blonde Redhead, Boy Harsher, and Kadavar. Three powerhouses already booked, and that’s just the start.

Tickets are on sale now for both festivals. Don’t miss either.

Austin Psych Fest announces first wave of 2024 lineup.

The first lineup announcement for the 2024 Austin Psych Fest is here, and it’s already impressive. The Saturday lineup alone is worth the price of admission.

Friday’s top three, Courtney Barnett, Chicano Batman, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets are top draws at festivals around the country. The Black Angels are must-see whenever they play, and All Them Witches are finally playing a Levitation festival!

Saturday is a “witchy” day all-around with not only All Them Witches, but also WITCH, Frankie and The Witch Fingers, and L.A. Witch all playing that day, and don’t miss Earthless or Minami Deutsch that day.

Alvvays and Kurt Vile and The Violators closing out Sunday is a big score, not to mention indie-rock stars Dehd.

More bands will be announced in the coming months, and tickets are on sale now. See you there?

Austin Psych Fest announces its 2023 lineup.

Austin Psych Fest is returning, and it’s bringing another great Austin music festival lineup with it. Saturday’s lineup alone is worth the weekend pass…and this isn’t even the full lineup. The festival will be held at The Far Out on two different stages throughout the day, and tickets are already on sale. Don’t miss it.

Austin Psych Fest returns April 28 – 30, 2023.

The fine folks at Levitation have announced the return of the Austin Psych Fest (which is what the Levitation Music Festival was originally called for many years and when I started going there in 2013) April 28 – 30, 2023. The festival will be at The Far Out Lounge in Austin and take place on two stages at the venue.

Lineup announcements and tickets are coming soon. I’m sure it will be another fun time in Austin, so don’t miss it.
